"I thought I killed him [and] I was so scared.
"I was so happy the next day in the 'papers they showed his eye [injury] because I knew he wasn't dead then."
Tyson claimed that his former promoter, Don King, had owed Green money.
Green's left eyes was completely swollen after the clash with Tyson in the streets of Harlem.
Tyson suffered a hairline fracture to his right hand, which was placed in a cast so they had no other choice but to push back the date of his first clash with Frank Bruno.
Green, 62, tried to sued 'Iron' Mike for $25m in 1997 over the injuries he had suffered from their street fight. Mich Green the former boxer was awarded $45,000 for 'pain and suffering' and not the 'alleged assault and battery' in the $25m lawsuit.
