Carmelo Anthony is scheduled to play this Saturday, Melo signed a non guarantee contract with the Portland Trailblazers. Melo last played in the NBA for the Houston Rockets where they let him go after only ten games.

Most felt Melo was treated unfair in Houston. As for Portland Melo is coming to a team that is 4-8 so if they loss or win you cant blame it on Melo. He should fit great with Dame Lillard and CJ McCollum, they can possibly have a solid three that definitely can score. 

Carmelo Anthony has been named an NBA All-Star ten times and an All-NBA Team member six times. He played college basketball for the Syracuse Orange, winning a national championship as a freshman in 2003 while being named the NCAA Tournament's Most Outstanding Player. 

Anthony entered the 2003 NBA draft and was selected with the third overall pick by the Denver Nuggets.  In 2009, Anthony led the Nuggets to their first Conference Finals appearance since 1985. In 2011, he was traded from Denver to the New York Knicks days prior to the NBA trade deadline
